Part Time Housekeeper Job in Primrose Hill, London
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking an experienced, proactive, and professional Housekeeper to join their warm, informal, and welcoming household in Primrose Hill. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated candidate who takes pride in maintaining a home to the highest standards and enjoys working as part of a household team. The successful candidate will be joining an established team that includes a live-in Housekeeper, a PA, and various external contractors. The household consists of a couple and their three teenage children, who attend boarding school and university and are home during weekends and school holidays. The family also has two much-loved Cockapoos, so a genuine love of dogs is essential.
Duties will include:
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property
- Working closely with the principal Housekeeper to coordinate daily tasks
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
- Managing dry cleaning collections and returns
- Grocery shopping and replenishing household supplies
- Light food preparation, focusing on healthy meals and snacks when required
- Running household errands
- Washing the family's dogs after walks with the dog walker
- General household organisation and other ad hoc housekeeping duties as required
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in private households, be highly organised and proactive, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. They will be discreet, trustworthy, and happy to take ownership of their duties while contributing to the smooth running of the household.
House: Large family home in Primrose Hill
Days & Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am–1:00 pm
Salary: £20 GPH
