Part-time Housekeeper Job, Chelford, Cheshire, 21 hours per week, £20+ per hour
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Housekeeper to help keep a busy family home in Chelford clean, organised and running smoothly. This part-time position offers approximately 21 hours per week across three or four days and would suit someone with high standards, excellent attention to detail and genuine pride in creating a welcoming home.
The family has children, although no childcare is required, and two dogs; applicants should therefore be comfortable working in a household with pets.
Key responsibilities
- Thorough cleaning of a five-bedroom family home
- Managing household laundry and ironing
- Monitoring household supplies and replenishing them as needed
- Maintaining an organised household and helping day-to-day routines run efficiently
About you
You will be dependable, discreet and self-motivated, with previous housekeeping experience and the ability to work independently. Excellent references and an Enhanced DBS check are essential.
Hours and package
Preferred hours: 9.00am–3.00pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Some flexibility may be available for the right candidate, including spreading the 21 hours across four days.
Start date: As soon as possible
Pay: £20+ per hour, depending on experience. The position may be offered on either an employed or self-employed basis.
