Part time Housekeeper job in Kensington, London
A private client is looking for a reliable and experienced Housekeeper to assist in their 5-storey house in Kensington. The client does not live at the property permanently and visits approximately once a month for a couple of days, either alone or with friends/family. The ideal candidate for this role will be well organised, energetic, knowledgeable, and careful. They should have excellent attention to detail, be passionate about ironing, and be confident liaising with maintenance contractors and assisting with the smooth running of the household. Driving would be a bonus.
Duties to include:
- Cleaning to a high standard
- General upkeep of the property
- Changing bed linen
- Laundry and ironing - bed linen, curtains as well as personal items during visits
- Liaising and dealing with maintenance people and contractors such a gardener, window cleaner, etc.
- Running household errands
- Wardrobe management
- Assisting with house guests
- Occasional simple, family cooking
- Ensuring the property is well organised and maintained
House: 5-storey house
Working days and hours: 3-4 days per week, approximately 12-20 hours per week, flexible
Salary: £20 gross per hour on a self-employed basis
