Part-Time Housekeeper Job near Liphook
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented part-time housekeeper to join their household. This is an informal household consisting of a professional couple who work full time and their two young children, aged 4 and 1 year old. The family already employs a Nanny, so you will not have any childcare-related duties, but it is essential that you are happy to be around children. The family lives in a beautiful 3-storey, 7-bedroom 1920s property with wooden floors and original features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regular deep cleaning – with different tasks to focus on each week
- Cleaning and dusting to a high standard
- Laundry (no ironing needed)
- Silver polishing
- Bonus: Cooking a simple meal every fortnight or so
The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience within a private household. They must have a lot of initiative and be a driver due to the location of the home. Although there are no childcare duties, the candidate must be child-friendly.
House: 3-storey home with 7 bedrooms
Days & Hours: Flexible with days (2-3 full days, 3-5 half days, etc.), 16-20 hours
Salary: £19-20 gross per hour (ideally someone self-employed)
Start: As soon as the right candidate is found
