Part Time Housekeeper Job in Harpenden, Hertfordshire

A lovely new client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking an experienced and proactive Part-Time Housekeeper for their new property in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.

The family consists of a couple and their 4-year-old son. They will be moving into their beautiful new home in mid-August. The property comprises five bedrooms arranged over two floors. The family may also be welcoming a dog in the future.

They are looking for a friendly, proactive, and flexible candidate who is happy to assist wherever needed and take pride in maintaining a well-run household. The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder who can work independently and ensure the home is kept to a high standard at all times.

Duties will include:

Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property
Laundry and ironing
Household organisation and tidying
Occasional dog walking
Ad hoc dog sitting (if desired by the candidate)
Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the household
Other ad hoc housekeeping duties as required

House: Five Bedrooms, Two Floors

Days & Hours: 20 hours per week, ideally over three days per week, flexible for the right candidate

Salary: £20 - £23 gross per hour

Start: Mid-August 2026
