Part time Child friendly Housekeeper Job in Hampstead, North London
A new client of Greycoat Lumleys, an informal and welcoming family, is seeking a child friendly Housekeeper to join their household. The family has three children aged five and two years, and five months old. The eldest attends school, and the middle child goes to nursery. They live in a spacious five-bedroom house with three floors, including a loft and an office.
The position involves approximately 80% housekeeping and 20% childcare. The ideal candidate should be organised, proactive, and confident in managing household tasks while providing support with the children when needed.
Duties to include:
- Cleaning
- Laundry and ironing
- Helping with the children after school and nursery
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children
- Other ad hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will be warm, reliable, and easy to have around, with a positive attitude. They should be quick yet thorough in their work, able to use their initiative, and comfortable working with a good level of autonomy.
Nearest station: East Finchley
Property: 5-bedroom house over three floors with a loft and an office
Working week: Monday to Friday (a few hours on Saturdays would be a bonus but not an essential requirement)
Working hours: 20-25 hours per week, from either 1 pm to 5 pm or 1 pm to 6 pm
Start date: As soon as the right candidate is found
Salary: £19 - £20 gross per hour (PAYE or self-employed)
