Live In Housekeeper Job – Nr Hereford – 3 days per week - £21,000 gpa
Our client is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to take on a varied role looking after holiday lets as well as working part-time within the family home. The home and holiday lets are in a beautiful rural location and accommodation is provided on site for the Housekeeper.
The family employ a small team of cleaners to look after 2, soon to be 3 holiday lets so you will be working with them and coordinating the team and making sure that the change overs are managed and completed to a high standard.
The Housekeeper will also help in the family home, and it would be ideal if you are
happy to help with looking after a teenage son when the family are away on occasional days, and basic meal preparation as well as helping with occasional entertaining.
This will be a flexible and varied role and a great position for the right Housekeeper who will have had previous experience in a similar role.
Duties will include:
- Hands on cleaning, laundry and ironing
- Holiday let management
- Some help with childcare
- Some help with basic cooking
- Driving and running errands
- Some assistance when entertaining
- Help with horses a bonus but not essential and stabling could be offered if you had your own horse.
Excellent references and Enhanced DBD check required
This role will be based around 3 days per week, possibly going up to 4 in the future, to include some occasional help on weekends although this will normally be a Monday to Friday role.
A self-contained 1-bedroom apartment is offered – all bills paid by the employer

Salary based on £21,000 gross per annum (pro-rata £35,000 for a full-time role)
