An excellent opportunity has arisen at an exclusive hotel in the Scottish Highlands for a Pastry Chef. You will be working in a 3 AA rosette restaurant which is regularly voted as one of the best in Scotland.
You will be responsible for the pastry section of this iconic restaurant and have the opportunity to be creative to create exceptional desserts.
The kitchen team are ambitious and so need an exceptional chef who shares those ambitions. You will be a chef who is determined to work in an environment where guest satisfaction and exceptional food are paramount. Ideally you will have worked within a Multi Rosette or Michelin restaurant and have an understanding of the exacting standards required in such restaurants.
Duties to include
Working closely with the Executive Chef to maintain standards
Use creativity to influence menu design
Take full responsibility of the daily running of the pastry section
Work harmoniously with the rest of the kitchen team while having the ability to manage when needed.
Temporary accommodation can be provided if needed. Salary will be dependent on experience and is competitive with an additional share of gratuities.
Salary: Up to £35,000 + share of tips
