Our client, a friendly young family of four with two school age children, is seeking the experience of a professional private chef at their home in Belgravia.
The role will be 6 day per week and the family take breakfast at 7.30am before the children go to school, the parents take lunch at 2pm, the children have a snack when they come home from school at 3.30pm and then they take a family supper at 6.30pm.
The family enjoy a range of cuisines but especially French, Mediterranean and Russian. The chef should always use fresh, organic ingredients, especially a lot of vegetables, and the family prefer to eat a dairy and gluten free diet with some exceptions. They prefer to eat family style, with a selection of starters and main courses to be shared on the table. They do not entertain too often but there will be occasional parties. They would like to chef to serve drinks during the day on request also.
The family travel during all school holidays and do not require the chef to travel with them so there will be some downtime during these periods.
There will also be cooking for up to 6 household staff when required.
Hours: 7.30am breakfast – 6.30pm supper, 6 days per week
Salary: Around £70,000 gross per annum
