Live out Private Chef job for Embassy in Central London, start September 2017 £Neg
Our client, an Ambassador at a Central London Embassy, is seeking the experience of a private chef at their home Monday – Friday, and occasionally at the Embassy when required for events etc. This would be an ideal position for someone just starting this career in private households, or who has recently graduated from culinary studies. It is important that the food is healthy, home cooked in style, using fresh ingredients but more complex dishes are required for dinner parties or events. This may include some canape parties. Other responsibilities include preparing weekly menus, shopping, cleaning the kitchen, stock control, organising expenses and working to budgets and preparing fresh meals daily. The client would also like the chef to lay the table and serve guests at dinner parties (but if more than 4 guests, there will be a butler/ waiting staff).
The ideal candidate will be flexible, organised, independent, adaptable and self sufficient. The client is looking for impeccable presentation and high standards when entertaining and simple, home cooked but nutritious meals when at home.
