We are looking for a full time, live out, private chef based in central London. The role will mainly cater for one or two people in the private residence, with occasional dinner parties for up to 12. The role will also cater for business breakfasts and lunches when required.
Food should be creative, seasonal and healthy, ranging from informal Ottolenghi style food to more formal dining.
Main areas of responsibility:
Plan menus according to employers' needs and diet restrictions
Responsible for catering budgets
Order materials, supplies, or equipment
Prepare meals in private homes according to employers' recipes or tastes, handling meals for family and guests
Stock, organise, and clean kitchens and cooking utensils
Plan and prepare food for parties, holiday meals, lunches, special functions, and other social events
On occasions travel with employers to holiday homes to prepare meals
Remain up to date with hygiene regulations; responsible for implementing and maintaining standards and best practise
The role will typically require work between the hours of 7am – 4pm with some evening and weekend work required.
You must be willing to travel; not normally more than two weeks at a time.
