Live out Private Chef in large private household in Chelsea, London, ASAP start, £45,000gpa +
Our client is seeking an experienced Private Chef, ideally from a hotel or high end restaurant background as well as experience in private households, five to six days per week depending on the family’s requirements. The ideal candidate will be a team player, organised, flexible and efficient.
Duties will include:
Running of the kitchen, from stock control to kitchen management
Ensuring that all the clients’ food needs are met. This will include providing all daily meals, as well as any
snacks and/or afternoon tea, canapes etc., as required.
Providing catering for staff if required
Daily menu planning (with or without input from the client), family style
Shopping, provisioning, stock control, supplier relations.
Maintaining high levels of cleanliness, hygiene and standards in the kitchen daily, so that they comply with
health and safety, food safety, COSHH and HACCP regulations.
Catering for events, whether formal or informal.
Catering for specialist and preferred diets and dietary requirements.
Budgeting and accounting for the running of the kitchen, whilst also minimising wastage.
Maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring that the best deal is reached, whilst maintaining the highest
quality of ingredients and products.
Hours: 5- 6 day week
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 gpa depending on experience.
