Greycoat Lumleys’ client is seeking a passionate Sous Chef for the re-launch of their hotel in Aberdeenshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sous Chef to be part of a hotel from the very beginning. This position would suit a current Sous Chef looking for a new challenge or a Chef de Partie who is looking for next step up.
The client is a passionate foodie and is looking for a Sous Chef to showcase the very best of what Aberdeenshire has to offer. You will have access to locally produced meat and vegetables to create dishes which are truly a celebration of the area. Ideally you will have an excellent understanding of Scottish cuisine but be able to combine this with fare from Northern Italy and the Mediterranean.
Salary of £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience

Share of tips
Sous Chef Duties:
Lead the kitchen team
Reporting into the Head Chef
Ongoing training and development of staff
Creative approach to menus
Responsible for all back of house operation
Responsible for all F&B outside catering and external events
