A highly prestigious client of ours in South London is looking for a Rosette Sous Chef to help and support the head chef manage their fine dining kitchen and team.

The right candidate will work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday (2 to 3 splits) with weekends being on a rotation with other sous chefs – weekend functions are paid in over time or time back in lieu).

  • The sous chef will be very hands on not only running the pass

  • Will have menu input and design dishes

  • Training juniors of the team

  • Stock rotations / daily ordering

Supporting the head chef:-

 

  • Costings, budget control, targets

  • Wastage control

  • Maintaining high hygiene standards

  • Weekly stock take

  • Client facing

  • Extremely organised

  • Ideal candidate will have had 5 years minimum experience in a similar role

Hours: 50 to 55 hours a week (OT paid) a 5 day week with weekend rotation each month, private functions on weekends paid on OT hours.

20 days holidays +bank holidays, plus other benefits
