Permanent Chef for formal family home. Working 5-6 days per week, to provide Lunch and dinner only. There are two adults and 4 children (ages 10 - 17 years old). There will be some travel with the role, both in the USA and internationally and travelling to their other properties including Hawaii, Barbados, Paris etc. You will regularly travel ahead of the family to these properties, to get supplies organised for their arrival.
The family like quite refined, but healthy food, interesting flavours and creative dishes. There are no specific dietary requirements or allergies, other than healthy and organic.
You will be solely responsible for all kitchen management, organisation, stock control etc. They like things to be very organised and immaculate at all times.
The chef must be child friendly, personable and approachable. The children are often in the kitchen and regularly take additional friends home from school, so this is really important.
Any experience with wine and wine inventory is hugely beneficial. The have a large wine collection and would like the chef to take control of the inventory of this if possible. Introducing some sort of scanning process would be beneficial here.
Accommodation: Full time accommodation is available for the right candidate. You will always be accommodated when travelling.
