Our client is seeking to hire a Household Manager to take care of their large Manhattan residence. Currently, this is the Families primary residence and they normally reside there for a significant part of the year. You will supervise and manage full time staff as well as extra staff who may visit at peak times. You will report to the International Estate Manager.

 

Your duties shall include but are not limited to:

 

  • Staff supervision

  • Recruit and train new members of staff

  • Management of maintenance schedules

  • Care of Artwork

  • Co-ordinating activities such that the household runs smoothly, including contractors, deliveries, opening up and closing down the house daily, taking care of visitors and guests, answering the telephone etc.

  • Running household accounts

  • Being responsible for the overall security of the house.

  • Running of general errands

  • Concierge services

 

This shall be a live out position. Accommodation may be provided on a live out basis for the perfect candidate.
