Weekend Nanny Job, starting October between London & Gloucestershire.


Our lovely returning client are looking for a fun, energetic, pro-active, organised and cheerful person with a genuine love of children to join the team. You must have proven experience with young babies and be confident in all elements of their care. You must be happy to be based between London and Cotswolds and ideally able to travel with family abroad during holidays. You will be expected to sleep with the baby’s monitor and help with homework for the younger children.


A UK driving licence preferred. You must be a confident UK driver.


A good command of spoken English.


The family have a very friendly, old, black toy poodle in London (who also goes to Cotswolds) and a friendly Cocker-poo in the country (cared for by the live-in couple). Dog lover preferred.



Location: London, SW7 & Kingham, Gloucestershire


Salary: TBA, depending on experience



Children Age: 4 children:


Boy 1 year, Boy 6 years (London day school) , Boy 10 years (Weekly boarder, Oxfordshire), Girl 12 years old (Full time boarding in Berkshire)



Working Days & hours: Preferably 4 days a week Friday (midday) to Monday (midday). This will be between London and Gloucestershire.



Start Date: Immediately.



London, SW7 & Gloucestershire: 4 day a week role working between London & Cotswolds depending where the family are. The family have a full-time, live-out, nanny/housekeeper in London who works Monday - Friday. The family have a live-in couple in the Cotswolds for house management, housekeeping and childcare. The two older children in the home (12 and 10 are at boarding School)





  • Driver and be happy to do school runs by car (including those from boarding schools as and when required) and transporting some/all children up and down from the family’s houses.


  • Basic cooking and helping with preparation of meals for the baby and children only.


  • Bath time duties.


  • Supervising and helping with homework and reading.


  • Putting the children to bed.


  • Organising play dates and activities.


  • Weekend clubs if necessary.


  • Liaising with schools/friends and the family’s PA.


  • Sole charge when family travel (this will usually be shared with our existing nanny).


  • Baby monitor at night.


  • Must be experienced and confident to have sole charge of a 12-month-old baby.


  • Tidying and organising children’s rooms and sharing the children’s laundry duties with our existing nanny/housekeeper(s).




Accommodation: Own bedroom/sitting room with own shower room / toilet and full use of family kitchen (microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge also available in utility for basic food preparation) in London. Own bedroom and bathroom in Cotswolds.



The client is looking for a candidate with proven experience with young babies and all elements of their care. Good command of spoken English and a proactive and energetic character. Must be happy to travel with the family abroad. The family have a toy poodle and a Cocker-poo, so you must be dog friendly.
