An exciting opportunity has arisen for a competent part-time Administrative Assistant to join a Gallery in Chelsea, London. The role involves, amongst other things, keeping on top of invoicing, sales records, financial reports & art fair reports so you will need to be savvy with Excel and familiar in dealing with company accounts. You will be working alongside the Gallery owner, director & assistant in their lovely friendly offices! 

You will also work with the company accountant to make sure he has everything required in terms of taxes and HMRC submissions. Other duties may include some more general admin jobs eg. dealing with the Gallery utility bills (and for one other property), insurance contracts, car admin etc. 

Skills:

  • 6+ months’ experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
  • Great Excel skills
  • You are a tech savvy professional
  • Knowledge of HMRC submissions
  • A knowledge of VAT, UK import and export regs & shipping art (desirable)

Specifications:

  • Salary: £15 – £20 GPH
  • One to tow days per week, depending on business demand
