Banqueting Sous Chef Job
Greycoat Lumleys’ client is a fantastic 5* hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. They are looking for a Sous Chef for their busy conference and banqueting department. This is a superb opportunity to work in one of the city’s best hotels and to work for a company with a fantastic benefits package. Duties to include:-
Assist the Head Chef in catering for functions and events up to 500 people.
Co-ordinating junior chefs to ensure smooth running of service for private dinners.
Prepping buffet for meeting rooms
Ensuring food safety and HAACP standards are kept
Minimising food wastage and maintaining GPs
Food ordering and stock rotation
Must have experience at 4/5* level catering for big events, must have very strong organisational skills and ability to lead and work as part of a big team.
Salary: £29k + superb benefits
Working days: 5 days per week
