We are seeking an exceptional Bar Manager to join our clients’ team at their beautiful Irish resort.

Our colleagues possess an intuitive service style that reflects the ethos and luxury of the resort. The person in this role will be a creative individual with an in depth knowledge of current industry trends with the ability to lead a team in providing the flawless service our clients’ guests expect.

The bar is a cocktail bar with a world class offering curated by our clients’ award winning mixologist. The innovative selection is crafted using the finest ingredients creating unique flavours.  The bar also houses an outstanding selection of rare and exceptional whiskies. The knowledgeable staff will assist you in sourcing, preparing and serving the stunning spirit selections and cocktails.

As Bar Manager you will be responsible for:

  • The seamless running of the bar, including ensuring that all our standards are met by the team.

  • As a senior member of the team you will lead and manage the team of Bartenders, Mixologists and Service Team, ensuring that their development needs are met.

  • Ensuring the bars profitability whilst maintaining financial control. 

  • Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional at all times.

  • Handling complaints in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Ensuring that licensing laws, health and safety legislation is adhered to.

Successful candidates for this job will:

  • Have exceptional product knowledge in regards to Spirits, Wines and Cocktails and a thorough understanding of industry trends and developments.

  • Demonstrate genuine dedication to the resort and show a commitment to consistently deliver quality.

  • Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our clients’ guests needs.

  • Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role, within a luxury hotel environment.

  • Be fluent in spoken and written English.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a pressured environment with the most demanding guests.

  • Previous experience working with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) would be beneficial.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
