Chauffeur / Handyman Job Nottingham

(53846) Experienced Chauffeur Handyman required for family owned business in Nottingham.

This will be a mixed role where you will be employed by the business and be based primarily at the business premises although some ad-hoc work may be required at the homes of the Chairman and CEO.

The driving is the primary task of the role and as such we need someone who is a safe driver, accustomed to driving larger cars and is discreet.  The Chauffeur will need to research and liaise with the CEO and Chairman with regards to their preferred routes, taking note of the same for future reference.  They would need to be proactive and have strong communication skills, someone who is happy to take on responsibilities for ensuring the CEO and Chairman’s vehicles are well maintained, refuelled and booked in for services.

Driving will mostly be around the business estate, which covers Yorkshire, the Midlands and East Anglia with some early starts and late finishes depending on the schedule.  There is typically a weekly run to Norfolk and a monthly trip to Manchester (afternoon through to the early hours) with occasional weekend working (trip to London/airport runs).

Other ad-hoc duties may include errands, garden maintenance, health & safety and fire alarm checks with some general office duties etc.

We would anticipate an average working week of 38 hours, typically Monday to Friday, with days off in lieu for weekend working.  We are looking for a flexible working approach, recognising that hours may vary, but weekly schedules are typically planned for in advance.

This role required someone with previous private Chauffeur experience and excellent references and a DBS check. Please note that due to the volume of applications we will only be responding to suitable applicants.
