Chef de Rang Job
Greycoat Lumleys’ client is a Luxury Country House Hotel over-looking Windermere in the Lake District. They are looking for a Chef de Rang for their 70 cover 3 AA rosette restaurant, the kitchen has recently been renovated and they are very focused on attaining a Michelin star. This is a superb opportunity to work in a privately owned hotel committed to developing their staff and with a team dedicated to achieving more accolades. There are plans to open a brasserie at the hotel next year to compliment the fine dining restaurant so there is superb career progression opportunities within hotel too.
Duties to include:-
Run a section during breakfast, lunch and dinner service
Serving afternoon tea and snacks in the lounges
Delivering exceptional customer service to 4 red star and 3 rosette standards
Ensuring all restaurant is ready for service
Helping junior waiters develop their skills
Ensuring all areas front of house and back of house are clean
Must have experience in a high end fine dining environment. Must be driven to constantly improve themselves and those around them, helping motivate a team to be the best they can be. The hotel puts a big emphasis on working as a team so you must be willing to occasionally work outside your comfort zone to deliver the best experience for the guests. Fantastic opportunity for a driven junior waiter to develop their career.
