Ad hoc Chef needed on Super Yacht



A lovely Client of Greycoat Lumleys needs a private chef for one of the most prominent superyachts on the circuit. They are looking for a professional, dependable, passionate and experienced Head Chef to join the team when the high profile owner is aboard to cook for the owner and up to 7 guests. They are seeking a fine dining chef who has a wide repertoire of international cuisine with experience of cooking in some of the worlds’ best restaurants who can delight and excite with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and showcase deserts. The culture fit is extremely important in this case. The high profile owner values passion, respectfulness, team cohesion, service excellence, inclusivity and openness. You will be working as part of a close-knit team who work well together. You will be someone who prefers to work in a consensus driven environment and has a track record of collaborating positively with others to deliver. You will also have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working with the high profile owner to devise menus and enjoy explaining your food to guests, including delighting those on restricted diets such as gluten free and vegetarian. No prior superyacht experience required. The 2020 schedule is predominantly focused in Europe however time is typically spent in Europe, Caribbean/US and thus experience working for North American clients and a B1-B2 Visa is preferred but not necessary.

19 July – 3 August (inclusive)

18 August – 6 September (inclusive)

30 September – 12 October (inclusive)
