Senior Chef Job in Marble Arch London.

One of Greycoat Lumleys most regular clients is looking for a Senior Chef to join their kitchen and work alongside their other Senior Chef on a rota basis. The family are an UHNW Royal Family, who use this home as their main base. They entertain only occasionally and the events can range from smaller parties to more lavish affairs.

You will work alongside the other Senior Chef on a rota basis, 5 days per week – to include weekends. Every day, food is cooked for the family (3 – 10 people) and also the staff (approximately 25 people). The type of food will vary, but the House Manager designs all of the menus in conjunction with the family's wishes.

The family have extremely high expectations and expect 5* standards. They enjoy a number of cuisines which include classic French, modern European, Japanese and British to name a few. Fresh bread is baked daily as well as pastries and other breakfast items such as homemade muesli. There should be an emphasis on healthy options including low sugar and low fat items.

The Chef should be well presented, organised and polite. They should be a team player and be able to take instructions and execute them well. They should be trained already and strong in most areas of the kitchen. The Chef should also have a ‘can do’ attitude, be confident in their ability and have an eye for detail.

Start: ASAP

Hours: 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis. Flexibility is important because you will sometimes be required to work longer hours for events. Weekends are required.

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Consultant: Tara Ward

Job no: 83877
