A client from Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a weekend chef on a permanent based in Knightsbridge.
You will be looking after two principals and their three children aged 7, 4 and 10 months. The house is fully staffed and you will also have to cook for one nanny. The nanny does not eat the same food as the Principals.
The hours required will be 8.30 till 5pm every Saturday and Sunday. They also employ a chef that works Monday to Friday, he has been with the family for six years. You will communicate with the other chef in regards to menus and provisioning’s.
The clients enjoy very clean and health cuisine, they enjoy protein and vegetables and are avid gym goers. Dietary requirements are no pork or alcohol and they prefer to eat little dairy and garlic.
The kitchen is a large open plan domestic kitchen that joins onto the breakfast room. Lunch and dinner in the separate dining room and is semi-formal service.
Food service times are roughly as follows: breakfast 9.30, lunch 12.30 and dinner 5pm. The family mostly eat meals together.
The family like plated course with immaculate presentation, you may leave dinner to be reheated by the Housekeeper or principal if they require.
Occasional travel can be option with the family to USA. They do not have any pets.
The ideal candidate must have good communication with the weekday chef, to be proactive, organized and efficient with timings.
They entertain very rarely and eat out at various restaurants when doing so.
Days/ hours: Saturday and Sunday, 8.30am-5pm (with flexibility)
Rate: £250 per day
