Junior Chef Job, Exclusive Use Lodge, Scotland – 1st June to 1st November 2021.
Greycoat Lumleys are looking for a Junior Chef to work for their client at their Exclusive Use Lodge in the North of Scotland. The client has a beautiful property that is booked by one group at a time and guest numbers range from 12-14. It is in a very rural location.
This role requires assisting in all facets of the day to day running of the kitchen, including mise en place, service, cleaning and general upkeep of the kitchen areas. The role would suit a candidate with a warm and friendly manner and able to work well as part of a very small friendly team.
They would be assisting the Main Chef. The usual requirement is breakfast, packed lunches, sometimes lodge lunch or remote bothy lunch, afternoon cake, set 3 course dinner – modern, stylish, local produce, homemade breads, etc. Sometimes a requirement for packed suppers to another cottage close by – mainly self-catered with packed supper option.
They would consider a couple if the other half had front of house / housekeeping skills
Driver with own car is essential
Dates: 1st June – 1st November
Rate of Pay: Negotiable
Days: 5 days per week – days off on a rota basis (2 days per week depending on business)
