A client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a chef with Michelin star experience to cook for 1 person in Cobham, Surrey.
The Principal does not need anything for breakfast or lunch whilst in the UK but does require a 3 course fine dining menu every evening; aperitifs are served at 7pm and dinner at 8pm. He will very occasionally entertain.
The Principal also has a house in France where the chef will need to travel to 3 times a year. Here you will be cooking for much larger numbers; it could be up to 20 on occasions. You must be happy to travel to go for 2-3 weeks over the Christmas and Easter period as well as 2 months in the summer.
Whilst in the UK the chef will have a lot of down time but in France it can be fairly full on. You must be flexible and adaptable to last minute changes whilst away.
Days worked: 5 days per week with 1 weekend off per month
Accommodation: provided in the UK and France
Salary: £35k gross per annum
Start date: ASAP but latest 1st July 2019
