A client of Greycoat Lumleys who is situated in the beautiful Cotswolds Countryside are looking for a Chef/Housekeeper to work for them on a full time basis at their estate.
The clients are in residence at the moment full-time due to Covid-19 however they do have other properties they travel to for periods of time particularly in the winter months which they may or not be doing this year.
They are very foodie and love to eat fresh healthy food, lots of seafood and Asian/Fusion dishes, they have an amazing kitchen garden with lots of produce to cook with - it is essential you have a passion for cooking as much as they do! When they entertain you will be expected to cook top notch dinner parties.
The house is a large family home with 8 bedrooms - normal housekeeping duties will be required, they have a part-time cleaner who is employed for washing and ironing - as the house is not used for entertaining so much nowadays for guests staying only a small number of bedrooms are used.
When the clients are away you will be required to look after the security of the estate and liaise with the clients PA and the clients directly
This role is suited for a candidate who loves to cook but is also happy to look after the upkeep of the house as well, you will have ideally worked in a private household and understand the need for discretion/flexibility and have a positive attitude looking for a long term position.
This role is suitable for Candidates who are willing to self-isolate with the client over the summer months due to the Covid 19 situation
Start Date - June/July 2020
Accommodation - Excellent separate accommodation is provided which is close to the main house - own small garden - A small dog/Cat is welcome
Partners can live with you, under the condition due to Covid 19 your partner is not going out to work - due to them living on the estate with you.
DBS - Enhanced DBS will be required and of partners who live with you
Driver - Essential you drive
Working days: 5 days per week which will include weekends
Salary £35,000 gross per annum
