Our client, an exclusive member club, is seeking an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join their team.
The Venue is a historic building in central London with an excellent restaurant and a magnificent terrace looking across the River Thames. The Menu is Modern British in design and there is also a specials board which changes daily.
As Commis Chef, this will be your first step on the ladder to becoming an accomplished chef. You will start on the veg section, sometimes looking after the hot starters and progressing to the dessert section, with the opportunity to move around the kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity, where the right candidate will progress and develop their culinary skills.
The contract is 37.5 hours Monday to Friday (based on rota 8- 4 or 2pm-10pm) with paid overtime available. You may be requiered to work on weekend function every 12 weeks
