A client of ours - one of the UK's finest restaurant groups offering luxe French food and impeccable service – is looking for a Consultant Chef to oversee their restaurants and F&B aspects in their hotels in Scotland. The Consultant Chef will report to one of the first chefs in the UK to be awarded three Michelin Stars, who has amassed an empire since appearing on the culinary scene in the 1960’s. Six of his restaurants are located within Luxury Scotland hotels, where guests delight in award-winning food and first-class accommodation.
The Consultant Chef will assist the Head Chefs in all the restaurants to build a motivated team of service staff by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety and development.
This person is responsible to keep the Group standards across all the restaurants up. They must provide food that not only meets and exceeds their guests expectations in flavour, substance, and presentation but is also in line with agreed company & legal standards. This is in addition to ensuring that the food costs of the business are well managed.
