A lovely family of 6 are looking for a chef who is happy to do the housekeeping for their two-bedroom flat in Central London. There are 4 children aged between 11 months and 7 years.
The mother is a foodie and passionate about baking; she loves Swedish cardamom buns and Pierre Hermes’ chocolate sablé recipe to give you an idea of taste. They love to try new things so creativity and passion for food is absolutely key. They all eat together so there are no separate meal times and no specific dietary requirements.
The main cooking responsibilities would be: cooking 3 meals per day (although breakfast can be done in advance), menu planning, and grocery shopping (Waitrose is close by).
The main housekeeping responsibilities would be: vacuuming and mopping the floors, making the beds, cleaning the bathroom, laundry, dusting / tidying and some other shopping such as buying nappies, etc.
The ideal candidate would be kind, hardworking and flexible. It’s best if you like kids and fit in well to cheerful chaos.
Hours: 10.30/11.30am – 6.30/7.30pm (40 hours per week). Earlier hours will be occasionally required for the morning school run when one of the Principals travels for work.
