A client of ours, set in the beautiful location of Parsons Green, South West London, is currently looking for a Demi Chef de Partie to join their team. They are an independent restaurant and cafe that serves a seasonal all-day menu, which includes breakfast, brunch and lunch. They also serve a top-notch single-origin coffee and cakes prepared daily with high-quality ingredients.

The successful person for this role has some kitchen experience, is a team player, willing to learn every day and finds satisfaction in preparing great food using seasonal ingredients.

The role:

  • Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef on the production of great dishes
  • Adhering to Health and Safety guidelines when preparing food
  • Work with and without supervision, following Head and Sous Chef’s directions
  • Producing a variety of items, including cakes, breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes

Essential skills/experience

  • 1+ years of experience in restaurants or fast-paced catering environment
  • A deep interest in cooking and learning about a baking, cooking styles and techniques
  • Good communication skills
  • Passionate for food and working with small suppliers and high-quality ingredients
  • Willingness to learn and improve cooking and baking skills

Desirable skills/experience:

  • Experience preparing breakfast dishes and cakes


  • Salary: £23,000 -£25,000 GPA
  • Start: ASAP
  • 40 hours per week
