We are looking for an exceptionally talented Director to lead our clients Event Production brand in Milton Keynes. You will support our team of 8 Senior project manager, project managers and warehouse staff, overseeing the production for this incredible London Events company.

The ideal candidate will be eager for new business development and have a compelling personality with an organised and methodical approach to work.

 

 

As the Director of Event Productions you will:

  • Have previous experience within the events production industry

  • A Bachelor’s degree in events, marketing or a related field  is preferred

  • Be a people person, able to build and develop long lasting relationships with clients

  • Oversee delivery, including leading on larger projects

  • Manage resources internally

  • Supplier liaison, negation and management

  • Manage and reconcile budgets

  • Have excellent leadership skills to develop and line manage a team

  • Have excellent Business Development insight, contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings. Also planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

  • Research organisations and individuals to find new opportunities

  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events

  • Work with our Project Team to develop quotes and proposals for clients

  • Be forward thinking, following the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors

  • Have great industry knowledge regarding event production, audio visual and electrical distribution

  • Have excellent communication skills, and IT fluency (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

  • Report to the board for directors for the group on a monthly basis

  • Strong ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills, working successfully towards deadlines

  • Have a full UK Driving License

 

 

 

Salary: Up to £65,000 plus £25,000 profit share
