Duty Manager Job
Greycoat Lumleys' client is a luxury hotel on the West Coast of Scotland is looking for a proactive Duty Manager to join their established team. This hotel is very much at the luxury end of the market having consistently received 4 AA stars and 3 AA Rosettes for its restaurant. The hotel is small with only 11 bedrooms and two self-catering cottages and a reputation for providing a warm and personalised experience for every guest. The team are long standing and guests come back year on year.
The position would be a combination of front of house duties and office administration. It offers huge variety and would allow the successful candidate to gain invaluable experience in two essential areas of the hotel. This position would be a great opportunity for someone who has good initiative, is passionate about hospitality and has food and beverage experience.
Duties would include:
Supporting the office manager in all aspects
Responding to email enquiries
Answering the phone
Meeting and greeting guests
Check in and check out
Waiting on tables in the restaurant
It is essential for this position that you are computer literate.
There is accommodation with this position which consists of a small single bedroom with en-suite.
The hotel is located in a village near a good sized town however it would be beneficial if you were a driver.
Salary: £18,500 plus subsidised accommodation plus tips
Hours: 48 hours over 5 days (including Saturday and Sunday)
