A client of ours – TV and film studios - is looking for an experienced Event Chef, a natural leader, with bags of passion, an adaptable skill set and all-round experience in banquet catering and gastro pubs. The location is Hertfordshire, 1 week away in Lyme Regis and various locations in London and Oxford. The set is very busy with 500+ crew members, so need a Chef who is able to lead from the front and produce delicious food, taking the team with them.  The menu required is healthy, vegan, packed with fresh ingredients.

The role:

  • Running the mobile kitchens
  • Food preparation & cooking
  • Managing a small team of chefs
  • Planning and evolving menus
  • Ordering and stock management
  • Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Allergy Awareness
  • Recruitment-growing the team


  • Love food
  • Have an experience in either high volume, award winning restaurants
  • Are a personable and outgoing Chef, who is an excellent manager of teams
  • Are able to lead from the front
  • Enjoy working in a busy environment


  • The probation period will be 8 weeks, following a further 10 month fixed term contract.
  • Location:  Hertfordshire, various locations
