Our client in Central London are seeking a Sous Chef to join the team at their prestigious company.
Our ideal Candidate will have previous experience with High Volume Canape’ Events, as well as High Volume Sit-Down Dinners, and be passionate about quality and excellence.
As Sous Chef, you will be a key part of the kitchen team ensuring that the food is prepared and delivered to consistently high standards, directly supporting the Head Chef. You will be responsible for running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring that the quality of food being prepared is consistent and meets the company standards.
The candidate will support the Head Chefs with the preparation and delivery of excellent food whilst bringing new ideas on menu and service to the business.
You will have real drive and a passion for exceptional food.
The successful candidate will have:
Sous Chef experience within an Events Company is a must
You will be technically efficient, organized and an excellent attention to detail.
Be able to work as part of a team and on your own as required
Be able to lead a team successfully
Ability to innovate and show knowledge of current styles and trends
You will have excellent knowledge of hygiene standards and health and safety guidelines are followed accurately
Salary: £38,000 + £2,000 BONUS
