Personal Assistant / Bookkeeper Job Manchester

Are you a highly experienced EA with strong numeracy skills?  Are you looking for a new challenge and to join a great team working in Manchester City Centre?

An old client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to take on an exciting role to be based in Central Manchester (Spinningfields).  This is a full-time and needs a candidate with strong numeric skills as you will have Bookkeeping responsibilities.  It is also important that you have and strong experience working as a PA / EA working on a one to one basis with an employer.

You will be working for a HNW Business Executive and the role will be a mix of managing administration of an estate, property portfolio and staff to assisting with personal administrative and financial matters.

Main duties:

PA & Executive Duties:

Diary management for principal, family and staff

Meeting and event organisation for internal and external parties

Organising deliveries and activity on the estate
Making travel arrangements

HR:

Managing the onboarding process of new staff. Including, where relevant, ensuring proper visa processes are followed

Running a small payroll of permanent staff and contractors with assistance from a professional service

   Finance:

Management of personal bank accounts and credit cards for Principal and family including daily reconciliation and basic cash forecasting

Occasional processing of invoices for small private businesses and estate

Liaising with company finance and Principal’s personal accountant to assist in the overall management of the Principal’s financial affairs

Skills:

Must be able to easily commute into Manchester City Centre
Intermediate computer skills i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
Confidence in picking up new software such as an accountancy package
High level of written and spoken communication
Confidence in use of internet banking
Strong attention to detail
Ability to demonstrate authority when the situation requires it
Some book-keeping or club treasury responsibilities would be beneficial
Flexibility and the ability to prioritise work effectively.

Start date – ASAP

Salary – negotiable depending on experience
