Greycoat Lumley’s is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for an Executive Sous Chef wanting to join a trendy, stylish company in a London Docklands Venue. We are seeking a Chef with a big personality who will fit in well with our trendy vibe.

About the Role:

  • Monday to Friday Executive Sous Chef role with very occasional weekends in a trendy docklands venue

  • Managing up to 10 Casual Chefs at any one time

  • Sous Chef role for a Sous Chef who would like to move over to big venues and progress. Might not be the right fit for someone currently in a Head Chef role as you will be supporting the Head Chef in this role

  • Corporate Events, Breakfast, Lunch, Grab ‘n Go Stations, Street Food etc. with 15 Sit Down Dinner’s a year catering for up to 1000 people



About You:

  • Able to work well catering for high volumes, up to 1000 people for events, and be able to handle high pressure

  • Good management skills are essential

  • At least 3 years’ experience in Events

  • Great people skills and a positive, energetic, confident personality

  • Able to maintain an incredibly high standard in quality of food and hygiene

  • Someone able to take charge and lead a strong team

  • Creative, fun personality and someone who fits in well with the team

  • Someone with a strong background in banqueting and catering for high volumes is essential

  • Someone who wants to grow within the company

  • Have excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with the sales tea,


Salary: Up to £45,000
