A brilliant, and long-standing, catering and events company in London is recruiting for an Executive Sous Chef to join their re-emerging team!  This is an exciting role to step up and support the current Executive Chef and support him in the day to day management and running of the kitchen.  

The role:

  • Working closely with the Head Chef and supporting him to run the kitchen effectively
  • Managing the team
  • Mentoring and developing the team
  • Ensuring the kitchen SOPs are in place
  • Running events and taking control of the production of them
  • Implementing H&S and HACCP
  • Writing menus and menu development with the Head Chef
  • Organising rotas
  • Stock checks
  • Running financials and P&Ls
  • Leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef

  • Love what you do and strive to produce excellent quality
  • Are highly organised and have good practices in place to run a kitchen and a team
  • Have experience in running an events kitchen

Salary:  £35,000 to £40,000 and then anything over 40 hours is overtime!

Hours:  As required, but paid overtime
