London based company specialising in luxury events and bespoke catering, has partnered with the F1 team to deliver their hospitality globally.
We are looking for someone to manage the trackside hospitality and catering team to deliver an exceptional service to our clients and VIP guests in an exciting and fast paced environment. The successful person in this role needs to be able to inspire, motivate and drive the team forward to ensure the client’s expectations are met.
This role involves worldwide travel in line with the F1 calendar.
The role will include the following:
Managing a team of 9-14 staff
Front of house presence at all races
Ensuring staff are performing well and meeting targets
Ensuring high standards of presentation of food and displays at all times
Preparing end of race reports
Briefing the team before and after races
Assisting and managing the set up and breakdown of hospitality at overseas races
Essential skills/experience • management experience in a catering or restaurant environment •excellent leadership and communication skills • good attention to detail • strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks • an excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Desirable skills/experience: • event management • report writing • superyacht service experience • multilingual skills
A minimum of two years’ experience as a team leader/manager in a catering or restaurant environment is essential.
