Food and Beverage Manager Job


Greycoat Lumleys’ client is a fantastic 5* hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. They are looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to join their operations team. Duties to include:-

  • Ensure smooth and effective running of all outlets

  • Have close working relationship with Banqueting Manager and Executive Chef to assist in leading large events

  • Plan and implement promotions within the outlets

  • Effectively manage the P&L operating expenses

  • Develop and manage Food and Beverage budget

  • Ensure cash control, liquor control and stock control policies are in place in Food and Beverage areas and followed by employees

  • Provide clear business plan for Food and Beverage in conjunction with F&B Heads of Department for yearly Marketing/Budgeting plan

  • Identify opportunities to increase profits and service performance by challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation, and driving necessary change.

  • Act as a role model and ambassador for guests, associates and the Brand, setting expectations and holding F&B team accountable for demonstrating desired behaviours

  • Coach and support Food and Beverage leadership team to effectively manage wages, food and beverage cost and controllable expenses



Someone with proven F&B management experience including large banqueting within a luxury environment. A high level of guest focus and show they have solid financial and commercial awareness. An excellent communicator who can lead and develop the team. You will have a hands-on approach and be pro-active with department managers in order to identify and support their needs at all levels.



Salary: £30-35k


Working days: 5 days per week
