A client of ours - a luxury hotel, has a great opportunity for an experienced hands on hotel General Manager seeking a new challenge, to manage the stunning 4 * 29 bedroom property located close to Lochness in the Scottish Highlands.

You:

  • Are a strong leader with attention to detail
  • Will recruit, train, and develop your team
  • Will have successful sales initiatives to drive the business
  • Can work under pressure and will be with your team when times get tough.
  • Will oversee the day-to-day management of the hotel
  • Will lead and motivate a well organised and professional Front of House team including recruitment, training, and HR.
  • Have proven experience in achieving agreed financial targets and business growth through focus on GP’s, budgets, and staff management.
  • Will regularly update social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Trip Advisor and Google+.
  • Will thrive being part of creative team and will look at ways to implement new ideas and strategies to bring more people to the business.
  • Will drive sales within all departments.
  • Have extremely high customer service skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with the local community and customer base.
  • Have strong financial acumen.

The Role:

  • Providing intuitive service with an absolute understanding of the guests needs to create exceptional service and experiences
  • Ensuring excellent customer service at all the times and dealing with guest’s feedback.
  • Assigning tasks and coordination shift patterns, timetables and staff leave.
  • Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
