Greycoat Lumleys’ client is a fantastic 4* hotel in Elgin, Inverness-Shire. They are looking for Head Chef to run the kitchen and maintain the excellent reputation of the hotel. This a great opportunity for s strong Sous chef to take charge of a successful kitchen and drive the hotel towards more success. One of the top hotels in the area, this would be perfect for a Sous chef looking to build their reputation within a hotel group.
Duties to include:-
Taking charge of the kitchen team and ensuring the smooth running of service in the 50 cover restaurant
Catering for weddings and other big events, designing menus to attract more business to the hotel
Training junior chefs and encouraging young talent to develop through the hotel
Ensuring food safety and HAACP standards are kept
Minimising food wastage and maintaining GPs
Food ordering and stock rotation
Must have 4* hotel experience, this role would be perfect for a Sous chef looking to take on their first Head Chef role.
Working days: 5 days per week
Accommodation: Temporary accommodation available to help with relocation
