Then at Greycoat Lumleys, we have the next step you are looking for! 

We are seeking an experienced Head Gardener, for what can only be described as a breathtaking private residence in Austria. Set over 3 acres of formal grounds, the Head Gardener will oversee two local gardeners in the following areas:

  • Design & Build in line with the principals preferences
  • Would need to make sure the gardens are prepared for harsh winters
  • Orchid knowledge will be an advantage
  • Assist with events and floral displays from the gardens
  • Supervise two local gardeners 

The head Gardener would be expected to take the majority of their leave during the winter months, although they will be provided with accommodation, suitable for a plus one, although the location is too remote for any dependents. 

Any German speakers, even basic German will be a key advantage in the selection process
