Our client is looking for a Head of Education for their exciting new growing Start Up looking to expand internationally. We are seeking a creative, think out the box, playful at heart Head of Education at nursery level with experience in getting nurseries to Ofsted Outstanding Status.

As Head of Education you will:

  • Have a BA degree in Childhood studies

  • Have at least 10 years’ experience in an Early Years Professional role

  • Be savvy and fast-thinking with a hands-on approach to the role

  • Have a background in operations with experience in setting up the infrastructure in successful nurseries

  • Have experience with getting nurseries Ofsted outstanding status

  • Have excellent communication skills both written and spoken

  • Be a fun, young-at-heart person with the desire to grow with an exciting new concept

  • Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills to build a rapport with parents and colleagues

  • The ability to adapt quickly to changes, is flexible and uses their initiative on a daily basis

  • Ability to successfully implement and lead effective business models

  • Ability to adopt an innovative, reflective and open-minded approach to leadership with the objective of maximizing the potential of existing resources, infrastructure and personnel

  • To lead a strategic approach to continuous monitoring and self-evaluation of the organization’s work with children and families

  • Effectively utilize data, research, evaluations and guidance to plan for development and improve outcomes for children and families

  • Develop, foster and sustain a positive and inclusive culture, which encourages learning, creativity, collaboration, partnership, wellbeing and a sense of community
