Health and Safety Manager Job

 

Greycoat Lumleys’ client is a fantastic 5* hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. They are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their operations team. Duties to include:-

  • To ensure that the company policies in respect of Health and Safety standards are adhered to.

  • To identify and highlight to Management and Head of Food and Safety the opportunities to meet and improve health and safety standards.

  • To highlight to Management and Marriott International situations where deemed to be at risk and to propose courses of action.

  • To ensure that RIDDOR requirements are followed.

  • To manage and develop a team consisting of a health and safety supervisor and a security officer

  • To ensure that Duty Managers have been trained in all aspects of Fire, Health and Safety.

  • Ensure that safe working practices are implemented into the departments and training recommended

  • To work with the Executive Chef to ensure that HACCP – Critical Control Points are in place for all menus.

  • To supervise proper running of back of house operations in relation to Health and safety issues.

 

 

Someone who is adaptable with a proven track record in Health and Safety management and leading a team, hospitality experience is preferred but not essential. This is a fast paced role and would suit someone who likes to work in an environment that constantly challenges them.

 

Salary: Negotiable

 

Working days: 5 days per week
