A family based in Central London are looking for a dynamic and proactive House Manager to oversee the running of their property. Alongside overseeing all aspects of service and maintenance, you will coordinate the other members of staff to ensure that the household is running seamlessly at all times.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing private households and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will initially be on a 3 month temporary contract, which will move to a permanent position upon effective completion of this period,

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the needs of the principals are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Overseeing household staff including recruitment, rotas, payroll, training and development and performance reviews
  • Household project and budget management
  • Organising and overseeing dinners, parties and social events
  • Provide an excellent standard of service to the principals’ guests
  • Service of food and drinks when required
  • Ensuring that the household is always presented and maintained to the highest of standards
  • Booking and liaising with contractors, service providers and appliance
  • Ensuring cohesion and efficiency is maintained amongst the household staff, along with a high level of morale

Working week: Monday to Friday 10am-7pm with flexibility

Live in or live out: live out 

Salary: £60k+ GPA
