Greycoat Lumleys VIP client who is based in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced House Manager / Executive Housekeeper to look after their luxurious villa in the heart of the city.

 

You will be responsible for managing the Housekeeping team and department, maintaining the house to a high standard and to ensure the maximum enjoyment of the family and their guests. There are around 15-20 staff currently employed at the property.

 

Ideal candidate should have previous experience as a Head Housekeeper (or Assistance of Head HK) in well-established hotel or high profile household and someone who is well familiar with high standards and understands the boundaries of the private household.

 

 

The position is to start asap, but the family would be happy to wait for the right candidate if there is a notice period.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • 6 days a week 12 hours a day with flexibility when required

  • Management and co-ordination of housekeeping personnel on a day to day basis and the management of staffing levels

  • Organize an inventory for linen, uniform standard fixed assets. Ensure this is updated regularly

  • Organizing staff rotas and making sure the daily operations are performed effectively

  • Develop and implement Housekeeping system and procedures

  • Supervise all housekeeping staff, hires new staff as needed, discharges staff

  • Full responsibilities for all Housekeeping aspects, including laundry and ironing – this will include overseeing of repairs, wardrobe maintenance, packing unpacking in respect to trips taken by the family

  • Maintain high standards cleanliness in and around the property

  • First Aid knowledge is essential

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Must possess good record keeping and time management skills

  • Display Exemplary performance for housekeeping staff to follow

  • Ability to work well in stressful and high pressure conditions

  • Previous experience in 5 * hotel, boutique palace or private estate

  • Health and Safety, First Aid knowledge is an asset

 

Salary: Highly Negotiable
