Live In Housekeeper /  Cook Job in West Sussex

SEEKING PORTUGUESE SPEAKERS

A lovely family is seeking an experienced housekeeper / cook for a holiday property in Hayward's Heath, West Sussex. 

The role includes working with another Housekeeper and a Caretaker / Driver to look after the house and maintain it to an impeccable standard. The house is used about half the year by different members of the family. Many of them speak only Portuguese and so it is vital that you are fluent. The family is multigenerational and some times there will be children at the property. There will not be pets. 

You will be responsible for cooking while the family is in residence. The family prefers fresh, Brazilian and Mediterranean style food. you will set menus, shop and participate in ensuring there is enough stock. 

Accommodation is a flat on the grounds of the apartment. 

This role does not need a driver but it would help you because it is very remote.

The duties include: 

• Cooking when the family are in residence 
• Cleaning and tidying
• Laundry and ironing
• Setting up house for visitors
• Bed linens
• Service of drinks 

Days: 5 days a week 

Salary: £38,000 GPA (you will need to work weekends when the family is in residence)

Accommodation: A Flat on the grounds of the property
