Housekeeper Job Market Drayton Shropshire

(54390) A wonderful Housekeeper role for an experienced candidate who is horse and dog friendly. Our client is looking for an experienced housekeeper to look after a part-time residence near Market Drayton Shropshire. This is a live in role. The property is owned by an English couple to split their time between the UK and Spain, using the house for around half of the year.

You will be responsible for looking after the Housekeeping of the property as well as looking after 2 resident horses (and this is every day while they are away). The clients enjoy their own space when they are in residence and will help with the horses and need part-time housekeeping only to keep on top of things. When they are away you will be doing the deep cleaning as well as making sure that the house is ready for use when they are visiting and ensuring that the property is safe and well maintained. They also have 2 English Setters who travel with them to Spain but if they travel elsewhere you will be required to help dog sitting.

Duties will include:

Hands on cleaning, laundry and ironing – house, barn, cinema and leisure complex

Horses – feeding, turning out, grooming, muck out stables, bring in (two retired horses), arranging shoeing and dealing with the vet

Vacuum clean the pool and maintain the chemical regime

Shopping for groceries and flowers for the house as and when requested

Airport and station runs for the owners and guests

Supervise gardeners and occasional maintenance contractors

No cooking, waiting on or standing on ceremony. This is an informal role while still maintaining professionalism and discretion.
